Major Responsibilities

As a Workday Integrations Lead, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring enterprise-scale Workday solutions. You will be our "go-to" technical leader and provide support on implementation projects.  Your extensive integration experience enhances the company’s outcome by mitigating risk with well-orchestrated expectations and deliverables within a cross functional team. You will work closely to scope, document, implement, deploy and support integrations solutions using the Workday integration platform. You will also be involved in all phases of Business partner’s engagement from day to day work. You will deliver solutions that are aligned with client’s needs.  The successful candidate must have passion for product quality and is eager and driven to work as part of a growing IT Services team.

Role responsibilities include:


  • Building Relationships: Develop key business relationships with all levels of management to ensure strategic, operational, and quality goals are achieved. Act as an adviser and subject matter expert to internal customers and to third party affiliates.


  • Market Trend Analysis: Assess external market trends and conditions to identify opportunities and mitigate risks in the Workday Environment.


  • Structured Sourcing Process: Lead the planning and execution of IT support, upgrades and projects sourcing.


  • Team Development: Work with technical and functional professionals.  Work with shared IT team to prioritize Saks Off 5th IT requirements and ensure minimal business disruption.


  • Project Management: Open minded approach to working with innovative development techniques to drive IT support and initiatives.


  • Innovation: Actively stay abreast of trends within IT and omni-channel as well as IT sourcing best practices.

Personal Characteristics

The successful candidate should possesses a thorough understanding of Workday Integrations and related technologies.  This candidate must have robust business acumen, and the ability to quickly assess a new environment and develop solutions that support the business strategic and critical objectives along with cultural norms. This candidate must be creative with a judicious mindset along with the ability to turn concepts into action.  This role requires a player/coach mentality, capable of thinking strategically as well as rolling up one’s sleeves and getting into the work.  The successful candidate will be a change agent who is flexible, resilient, and able to thrive in a dynamic, rapid paced environment.

Professional Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Workday, HRMS/Finance Integrations experience


  • Ability to deliver Workday integration solutions that are fit for purpose including requirements capture, design, development, testing, operation implementation and post go live support


  • Strong understanding of Workday integrations and related technologies. This includes technical experience with different integration tools such as WD APIs, EIB, Connectors, Document Transformation, Workday Studio, and Workday Cloud Connect for Third-Party Payroll (CCTPP)


  • Perform application system analysis, prepare data/process flow diagrams and design screen/report layouts as part of business systems solution/application design
  • Work directly with software partners to identify needs and guide partners down the correct integration path
  • Work with business partners to set and accurately track key metrics for the Integrations team and individual team members
  • Focus on deliverables and client business priorities.  Monitor progress, mitigate risks and confirm to key stakeholder expected outcomes and expectations


  • Excellent client focus, able to assess the client needs, build relationships and manage client expectations.  You will know when to push back, when to escalate, and when to go above and beyond to satisfy the client


  • Manage Production and Test Environment Implementations through the use of enterprise change management practices


Educational Credentials

Bachelor’s Degree or relevant years of experience are required, preferably in relevant discipline. MBA or other advanced degree is an asset. You have Workday Integrations Certification.
