Job Description

Primary responsibilities of Associates:
· Knowledge on the day-to-day activities of Fixed Asset/ Project Accounting and Lease / Property
Accounting activities.
· Timely & efficient support to the Finance & other teams.
· Effectively working on day in & day out activities.
· Understanding & analyze on the process & exceptions if any.
· Planning day-to-day activities & working towards streamlining of process.
· Adhering to HBC policies & procedures.
· Ensure timely and efficient delivery of activities assigned.
· Fixed Asset Accounting
· Asset Capitalization, Depreciation activity.
· Posting of monthly standard, Journals based on the supporting / backups
· Accounting for asset disposals, transfers and retirement
· Fixed Asset Reporting like NBV reporting, Lease life analysis, Disposal
report, CIP management.
· Account reconciliations & Roll forward recons.
· Property & Lease Accounting
· Lease and property accounting including Amortization, CAM, Tax & Utilities
· Preparing property tax reports, analysis of tax entries
· Prepare and submit sales for rent calculations.
· Account reconciliations.
Professional Qualifications
· Good financial aptitude with minimum 1 years of work experience in Corporate Finance with
MNCs/GICs, with preference to Retail industry focused on Fixed Asset and Property Accounting
· Experience in Oracle ERP (Oracle Fusion Preferred) and Multiview
· Proficiency in Microsoft office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
· Working experience in Financial Accounting and Reporting processes
Educational Credentials
B. Com or MBA Finance (preferred)
