What This Position Is All About:

The CRM Senior Analyst will be responsible for delivering technical solutions to help drive Marketing strategies by solving technical challenges and maintain solid processes for the Common CRM platform.  This will help to drive an excellent experience for the Customers across SAKS banner.

Senior Analysts are equipped to handle a variety of technology problems varying from front-end systems, to integrations with back-end systems. You are well versed in multiple technologies and environments.  You are comfortable working closely with business stakeholders, solution vendors and other developers.  You will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges on a multi-component platform.  You thrive in a technical environment, behind a keyboard as well as within a brainstorming session. You will be part technical, part creative and feel comfortable coming up with ideas on how to provide the best solutions for the company.

  • Knowledge of Snowflake, Oracle and API product line.
  • Knowledge of Informatica, Datastage and ETL processes

You Also Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, with 4-7 years of work experience
  • Experience in development/support of functional/technical specifications and documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills and the ability to take an innovative approach to business problems.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on teamwork, sharing knowledge and expertise as it relates to the role.
  • Knowledge of CRM and Loyalty processing solutions in a retail environment.
  • Hands-on experience in API framework, Postman or similar tools
  • Knowledge of ETL, SQL (Must-Have), AWS, Python (Good-to-have), unix shell scripting.
  • Ability to take ownership of assigned work.
  • Sound ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.  
  • Nice to have: experience developing in NoSQL databases
  • Operating systems:- Windows Unix AWS Cloud
  • Language/tools:- SQL, Informatica, BDM, Snowflake, Datastage Shell Scripting, Python (Data Engineering), Apache Spark
  • PL SQL,Oracle, AWS 
  • Software & Hardware;- Appgate,OKTA,SQL Server Management Studio,SQL Developer,Toad,Postman
  • Nice to have:- Databricks,Python IDEs,AWS EMR
  • Concepts:- ETL process and concept

As the Senior Analyst, Stores You Will:

  • Responsible for the 24/7 support of applications in the Retail Store Systems Area and will participating  on a rotating on-call schedule for off-hour/weekend support
  • Provides technical documentation to illustrate what is changing in the environment.
  • Collaborate with the development teams to architect new solutions that your teams will eventually support
  • Responsible for problem management and analysis to drive resolution to high volume recurring incidents to reduce overall incident volume
  • Resolve end user inquiries in a timely manner and collaborate with SAKS technology
  • Experience in ETL process and concepts.
  • Experience in Loyalty system.
  • Experience in finding the root cause for failed transactions.
  • Support and resolution of issues. Looking into incidents or tickets.
  • Ability to work as a team and individually for troubleshooting / investigating critical problems and leading meetings.
  • Ability to coordinate with the development team for issue resolution
  • Good knowledge of Informatica, Datastage is mandatory.
  • Must have experience in Retail / Store System and production support L2/L3.
  • Ready to work in shifts (First general and second)
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge in AWS will be added an Advantage
