Manager, Talent Scouts

 

 

Role

 

 

The mandate for this position is to lead a team primarily responsible for researching and sourcing candidates for our recruitment requirements for Stores in North America. This role will also focus on building creative analytics for the recruitment function and actively contribute to strengthening our recruitment presence on social media.

This role is essential to the team and applicants must be able to thrive in a high pressure, fast moving, and evolving environment

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 

  • Manage a team of sourcing specialists, ensuring high productivity levels. Responsible for coaching, mentoring and career guidance for each sourcing specialist
  • Work as an advisor to the Recruitment Partners, providing an in-depth understanding of the talent market and trends.
  • Proactively explore options for improvement and introduce new initiatives to identify and develop solutions
  • Ensure the Candidate Management System is updated with accurate, updated, and compliant information
  • Talent Mapping and Talent Mining of qualified leads via various external social networks to create a talent pipeline to meet the current and future needs across the business
  • Subject matter expert who provides training on how to get the best value out of various sourcing channels
  • Responsible for compliance with respect to statutory laws and for all periodic audits (internal and external)

The successful candidate should be a respected and proven recruitment professional with a quantifiable track record of success in delivering results within a large complex organization.  He/she must have the ability to quickly assess a new environment and develop solutions that support the business strategy, critical objectives, and cultural norms. He/she must be creative with a strategic mindset along with the ability to turn concepts into action. He/she must have strong relationship building and influence skills, strong verbal, written communication skills and strong analytical and diagnostic skills.

 

 

Professional Qualifications

 

 

  • Minimum of  6-8 years of prior research/sourcing experience
  • Experience in Recruitment/Sourcing for the North America market
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to internal and external candidates
  • Strong coaching and leadership skills
  • Experience in managing a team
  • Must be tech savvy; Applicant Tracking Systems and CRM’s with the ability to learn additional programs as needed

 

 

Educational Credentials

 

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any stream is a must
  • Master’s Degree is desirable
