What This Position Is All About:

We are seeking an organized, confident, and creative Email Production Specialist to join Hudson’s Bay’s internal content production team. This position reports to the Sr. Manager and will work alongside a team consisting of email marketing specialists and planners. Knowledge and experience in hands-on coding HTML for email, including nested tables, cross client and device functionality, and various versions of HTML. Knowledge of slicing graphics, image optimization techniques, image file formats, Adobe Photoshop and Dreamweaver, skills of QA is also required. Attention to detail is a must. The candidate should also have strong organizational and analytical skills as other duties may be required

Who You Are:

• Generating and developing HTML emails from digital creative
• Working collaboratively to ensure successful execution of email marketing campaigns
• Writing programming code, either from scratch or by adapting existing HTML code and graphic packages
• Troubleshooting HTML and revising code where necessary to integrate with internal tools and render properly across multiple email clients, browsers, and mobile devices
• Building and testing email templates
• Using initiative to research and develop code to solve challenges
• Coding HTML from Photoshop mock-ups for email templates.
• Knowledge of QA and attention to details is required for approval/final checks on all emails before deployment
• Understanding of email results & reporting

As an Email Production Specialists, you will:

• 2+ Years of experience in Web & Email design and development
• Experience with Cheetah Mail and Movable Ink preferred
• Strong Problem-solving skills; ability to troubleshoot programming bugs and problems
• Experience with email automation, triggers, and deployment
• Strong working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• A solid working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• Strong understanding of Photoshop slicing and image optimization
• Knowledge of Email Marketing best practices and results
• Knowledge of QA
• Knowledge of Email Marketing results and reporting
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Education Qualifications:

• Graduation mandatory
