What This Position Is All About: 

Marketplace teams add thousands of new items to the websites each week. The QA Analyst for Product &  Assortment is responsible for ensuring a superior customer shopping experience as a result of auditing the online merchandising and product information strategy for multiple categories of business. The objectives will be met by ensuring category merchandising is reflective of the site merchandising strategy for assigned areas of business. The position will also be accountable for ensuring timely and accurate QA of all products and assortments. 

Who You Are: 

  • Ownership over designated categories of business with the goal of achieving all accuracy targets and ensuring  compliance with Go Live dates and Time to site SLAs for the respective areas.  
  • Ownership of Product & Assortment QA to ensure all products are placed in all relevant categories on-site to optimize selling, Brand is spelled correctly, Products have accurate French copy where needed, Product copy is correctly formatted using HTML, and after a quick scan does it match the product name. 
  • Serve as the liaison between the Seller Acquisition team and vendors on Item setup–related issues. ? Responsible for QA of Item setup, categorization (Taxonomy), and correct refinements/filters for multiple areas of business. Responsible for the resolution process for quality center defects. Identify process and/or system inefficiencies on a regular basis. Send items for select vendor approval. 
  • Daily QA signoffs on products & images. Ensuring thorough quality assurance of designated categories of responsibility and any featured products. Images are of good quality, products are photographed on a white background and alt images match the primary image. 
  • Analyzing customer feedback and actioning as needed – leveraging the Voice of the Customer and NPS feedback ? Develop training materials and product guides as needed including thoroughly documenting all processes and  procedures 
  • Partner with Site Operations on process efficiencies for optimal and improved refinement automation


As an Analyst, you will: 

  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of Catalog / Item Setup experience.  
  • Understanding of retail e-commerce landscape 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills 
  • Minimum of 1-year experience in e-commerce, catalog, retail site merchandising preferred
