What This Position Is All About:


The Human Resources Services Group Specialist will work in cooperation with store partners on a daily basis in order to assist with the day-to- day operations of HBC Stores HR primarily for Canadian associates including the Quebec region. In addition, they must create effective working relationships with internal employees and business partners and must work well with many different levels of management. This role provides administrative support to the HR function as needed, including record-keeping, HRIS entry and maintenance and new hire system set up.



As the Specialist ,HR Services Group, you will:

  • Support Stores in all HR administrative needs.
  • Administer all designated employee lifecycle events including associate initiated inquiries
  • Must be able to toggle between different platforms
  • Take on additional projects as needed and based on learning and growth opportunities
  • Uphold and be a role model of the Company’s Winning Ways and Core Values.

You also have:

  • 3 year Degree, preferably in Human Resources, Retail, or Business Management
  • Excellent knowledge of Canadian French and can read, write and understand the language proficiently.
  • 2 - 3 Years of Human Resources experience preferred
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
