What This Position Is All About:

The role will have the responsibility to work in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders and HR operations to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions in line with the needs and priorities of Saks. Operating as the departmental HR expert, to advise, guide and support staff and managers by providing high level people management and development support across Saks.

Who You Are:
?    Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
?    Dependable work ethic; capable of taking ownership of a task and seeing it through to completion
?    Must feel comfortable working in a dynamic and flexible environment with changing priorities.
You Also Have:
?    MBA HR with over 10+ years of work experience in established GCCs/MNCs. 
?    Experience in working as a People Business Partner with senior leadership and exposure to other areas of the People function like Operations.
?    Expertise in incubating global best practices.
?    Excellent track record of developing high performing teams and delivering impactful projects.
?    Skilled at working collaboratively across highly matrixed organizations and communicating across levels. 
?    Self-driven with high integrity. 
As the Senior Manager, People you will:

?    Delivering key HR initiatives across the HR spectrum, including planning, budgeting, talent management, pay and reward, employee relations, employee engagement and performance management. 
?    Work within a global framework, plan, develop, implement and direct these aspects of the People function: learning and development, career development, organizational design.
?    Collaborate with business leaders on initiatives that engage employees and promote retention of top talent. Develop and execute a talent strategy for the region inclusive of growth initiatives.
?    Identifying HR priorities from corporate plans, translating business requirements into effective HR practices and delivering people solutions aligned to business objectives. 
?    Responsible for partnering with Leaders to champion and drive Saks Fundamentals
?    Builds relationships with all key People stakeholders and leaders to establish the credibility of the People function
