ob entails the ability to support the POS store systems specifically with Toshiba-POS environment.This position will need to support various other pheripheral devices in the store systems such Printer's, Scanner's, Pinpad's and any other store system devices. This position will work with the team to improve run book processes,documentation,maintenance,procedures,monitoring,alerting in the Retail store application area. List of responsibilities: 1. Co-ordination and commuication with various other teams in the organzation for effective handling of any issues reported from the user. 2. Good at understanding the Retail store systems and its technologies for supporting any issues reported from the end users. 3. Maitain SLA for any issue reported for effecient handling of any incident reported via ticketing tool or email or chat. 4. Maintain a sense of urgency on the issues reported and to provide any workaround quickly for the business to run smooth. 5. Good at monitoring tasks and ability to take up action for any alerts which requires immediate attention. 6. Good at handling the reconcile issues with the retail store system's such as close, open and any other accounting issues. 7. Ability to act under pressure with time sensitive activities for to keep the business run smooth without any downtime within support rotation of 24/7. 8. Knowledge of role swap activities such as LDR with a multinode store controller application. 9. Analytical issues to analyze and resolve any issues that are reported. 10. Lab test-POS system deploy;bug fix; Toshiba -install,configure,upgrade,migration-problem/incident management. Exposure: Retail Industry exposure with sloution implementation, support,rollout, configuration with in the store application area. Operating System Knowledge: Windows; IBM4690 ; Linux Language/Tools: Shell scripting; JAVA; Python(Must have); Windows bat/cmd script; MySql
