Day in the Life:

The CRM & Email Marketing Specialist, Essentials will play a critical role in the launch of a new business providing everyday goods to customers. We are looking for an individual with proven experience developing and implementing email marketing campaigns for a DTC/e-commerce brand. This individual will be responsible for the execution of email programs which include outbound campaigns, customer behavior, and transactional-based trigger programs. This is a rare opportunity to join a start-up within a larger organization, be part of building the business from the ground up and build your team. This important contributor thrives in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, possesses a strong digital-focused mindset, and brings an entrepreneurial work style. This role reports to the Sr Manager, CRM Marketing.

 

What You Will Do

  • Execute email campaign build, set-up, scheduling, testing, and deployment of one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic content-driven campaigns
  • Design and build CRM/CEM consumer journeys through email and other activations based on consumer's maturity and engagement with the brand to drive retention, conversion, and engagement
  • Manage customer segmentation and personalization, list health, deliverability, email calendar reporting on core email and SMS KPIs, and collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot and enhance performance.
  • Use data and analysis to identify opportunities for new campaigns and automated flows, message cadence and cohorts
  • Be the subject matter expert for CRM and email marketing-related matters
  • Work with internal teams to build and test email creatives, journeys, tags, select database audiences and deploy using the company-preferred email marketing tools
  • Stay current with the latest CRM, Lifecycle Marketing and Marketing Automation trends
  • Leverage insights and best practices to continually improve decision-making, processes, campaign development activities, and data reporting accuracy

 

What You Will Need

  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar role within the eCommerce or retail industry
  • Prior experience in email audience set-up, data email analytics, journey & email design, email deployment, campaign management, A/B testing, and reporting.
  • Experience with CRM & marketing tools (Cheetah mail, Mailchimp, SAP Marketing Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Braze) for eCommerce & DTC
  • HTML and CSS programming experience is a must; JavaScript experience is a plus
  • UI/UX experience is a plus
  • Basic SQL is an asset, for pulling custom audiences
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities and exceptional attention to detail with technical expertise
  • Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
  • A structured thinker with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to build strong relationships with, collaborate with, and influence business partners
  • Desire and ability to build structure in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment that is both a matrix organization and yet a start-up
