Job Description

What This Position Is All About:

The Benefits Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sr. Benefits Manager with the administration of a wide variety of employee benefits, policies, and programs for HBC employees in Canada. As the Benefits Specialist, you will:

? Support with the administration of a wide variety of employee benefit plans, including Health and Wellness, Short Term Absence and Long Term Disability.

? Research, analyze and resolve employee Benefit and Absence issues in internal systems and/or with the vendors while ensuring compliance and regulations that impact the programs and policies.

? Manage weekly and monthly processes, including vendor billing, reconciliation, and preparing any absence reports for Finance or internal teams, as required.

? Provide support with implementing Oracle Fusion Benefit and Absence enhancements, annual benefit open enrollment activities, reporting, testing and audits.

? Participate in process improvements and/or projects that will improve the overall business performance and mitigate risk while driving efficiencies

? Support HR initiatives and related projects as required

? Excellent knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel
