• Resolve end user inquiries in a timely manner and collaborate with SCS technology
• Responsible for completing programming and process management tasks as they pertain to new and ongoing EDI/IT projects.
• Help prioritize assigned tasks based on project deadlines and project priority level.
• Manage multiple projects of varying scale concurrently
• Communicate updates with all stakeholders to ensure that all needs/requirements are being delivered.
• Analyze user needs as required; assist in the design of specifications to meet end user needs.
• Develop and modify software to meet the specifications outlined in data processing requests.
• Test and debug assigned projects; assist in testing projects for other members of the programming staff.
• Prepare documentation on new or existing software.
• Investigate initial support calls and call escalations from the support staff; make the necessary corrections to data and/or software.
• Follow departmental pre-established standards and guidelines as they pertain to design and development.

● Bachelor’s degree preferred
● 5+ years of experience in IBM in programming (all levels of RPG ILE, Free,RPG IV/III/II, CL, DDS, DDL)
● Strong written and verbal communication skills
● Prior EDI experience preferred
● Experience with AS400, DB2 & SQL
● FTP scripting and processing
● AS2 scripting and processing
● Experience working in an AS400 environment
● Knowledge of EDI communications, VANs, FTP, X.400, SMTP, etc.
● Experience creating EDI maps (X.12/EDIFACT) implementing EDI communications and developing interfaces
between EDI tools and business systems; knowledge of 850, 810, 846,855, 856, 832, 870, 816, 860, 852, 820 are
pluses.
