The Business Solutions Management (BSM) team is responsible for supporting merchandising operations and the corresponding applications for buying and planning at Saks and Saks Off 5th.  BSM analysts work daily with end users and/or Technical teams to execute admin (“super user”) functions and manage Level 1 issues and requests. 
BSM analysts are involved in identifying opportunities to improve or automate processes within the business or BSM administrative functions. The administrative functions maintain the business rules tied to the integrity of merchandise and store data which are critical for purchasing, pricing, receiving and selling processes.

BSM analysts will be included in testing system fixes and enhancements. As Subject Matter Experts of merchandising applications, the BSM team creates and maintains documentation of merchandising functions and processes. Analysts will also partner with Technical teams and other business partners for systems training and development.

• Post-Secondary education in Business, Information Technology or a related field of study or equivalent
• Knowledge of Excel, Google Suite
• Knowledge of merchandising business processes and applications is an asset
• Retail experience is an asset
• SQL knowledge is an asset
