We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to provide world-class support to our end users and responsible for resolving support requests and service tickets. 

The IT engineer should be skillful to quickly and effectively diagnose and resolve issues related to PCs, MACS, mobile devices, printers, video conferencing, collaboration technologies, business application software, telecommunication issues, and potentially local network issues.

Key to this role, the IT Support Engineer provides a strong and dedicated customer service, able to provide first class support with the end-user in mind and having a strong understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) methodologies and requires a very high level of technical proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication skills

IT Support Engineer - Responsibilities:

  • Maintain essential IT operations and provide 1st line support for laptops, desktops, computer hardware, software, and peripheral components to ensure a stable environment for the offices.

  • Serve as the subject-matter expert supporting Windows 10 and 11, Mac OS X,  and widely used software and applications, such as Microsoft, Adobe, and Google Workspace

  • Providing technical support on-site or via remote-access systems. 

  • Provide hands and feet support/ initial trouble shooting steps for all network devices, including switches, routers, firewalls, voice, video, file/print servers, laptops, desktops, and network cabling and telecommunications devices required by the business before engaging the platform teams.

  • Leverage organization IT standards, solutions, processes and techniques to maximize the efficiency of all computer systems.

  • Identify opportunities and recommend solutions for improving the overall network health by assessing overall effectiveness and efficiency. 

  • IT Assets inventory management and tracking.

  • Handle business-critical IT tasks and system improvements

Technical Skills/Experience:                                                                                                    

Proven and established IT Support experience including:

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in providing IT Support in a captive environment.

  • Knowledge and experience of Windows 10 and 11.

  • Knowledge and experience of Apple Mac OS.

  • Experience of OS installation, application installation, processes, registry, patches, RDP, Sysprep and troubleshooting.

  • Experience using PC and Server hardware (including network interfaces, hard drive configurations and installation of hardware components and drivers).

  • Good knowledge of standard software packages (including GSuite for Business, MS Office applications, Antivirus, Backups, etc.).

  • Knowledge of networking concepts (e.g. Systems, Protocols, Directory Services).

  • Knowledge of telecommunication systems, LAN and WAN technologies.
