Role Summary:The PMO Sr Project Manager (PM) is a key project delivery role at Saks Cloud Services. As a member of the PMO organization - the Sr PM is responsible to deliver projects on time and on budget. The Sr PM works closely with the project team to build the project plan and to execute that plan with a focus on meeting all time and budget commitments. The Sr PM is effective at providing executive status updates and consistently identifies and remediates risks before they become issues.
Key Qualifications: A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience as a Project Manager, ideally in the technology retail environmentA total of 13-14 years of experience in IT industryA bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experienceProven experience with large scale initiatives with cross functional teams with budgets exceeding $1MKnowledgeable and comfortable with technology platforms and environmentsProven ability to work independently, and balance priorities in a dynamic environment with multiple assigned projects and tasksStrong analytical and innovative problem solving skillsStrong development, motivational, and negotiating skillsOutstanding communication skills, verbal and written
Role Description:The PMO Sr Project Manager:Takes projects from original concept through final implementation working with cross-functional project teams and leadersPlans, monitors and directs the team to execute the project plan as well as manage costs within project budgetsAssesses project issues and risks to develops resolutions to direct the analysis of, and solution to problems; meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goalsDevelops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, budgets, and status reportsConducts project meetings and is responsible for project deliverablesResponsible for accurate and timely completion of project status as well as preparing and leading project steering meetingsEnsures deliverables meet project requirements; reviews deliverables with business stakeholders and incorporates feedbackConduct post-mortems on projects and disseminate conclusions to the rest of the teamAdditional responsibilities as required
