Role Summary:
Saks Cloud Services is looking for an API Integration Engineer to join the newly formed Integration Services team. In this role you will be responsible for architecting, building and managing the integration platforms, process, deployments, and defining the frameworks utilized for integration for the company.
Key Qualifications:
2+ years of experience with IBM Websphere Message Broker, MQ, or ACE 2+ years of proven information technology experience as an integration professional with a focus on industry standards and best practicesExperience automating process and procedural workflows for application integrationExperience with current frameworks for integrationExperience with Oracle, SQLServer, PostGres, and Snowflake preferredExperience with AWS cloud computing preferred Knowledge of configuring monitoring and alerting with Nagios, New Relic, or DataDog would be an advantageKnowledge of Kafka and Akka streaming platforms would be an advantage
Role Description:
Drive the highest levels of customer service and stabilityDefine and manage integration services including Streaming and Rest based servicesMonitor the environment to proactively identify, troubleshoot and resolve issuesConduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve complex problems impacting service levelsConfigure alerts on the system to identify issues before they cause system outagesFoster technical and procedural excellence within the IT department for all systems and processesCoordinate with other IT departments to facilitate requirements, objectives, and manage IncidentsDefine and implement integration standards across the enterpriseFocus on automation of data and integration needs across the enterpriseParticipate in after-hours escalations and maintenance as neededPartner with IT management and internal customers to communicate and implement necessary changes to keep the integration environments current, stable, and secure
