As an Associate Product Manager, you play a pivotal role in shaping the success of a major Canadian retail website. Your responsibilities span various domains, from strategic planning to product launch, and includes product vision and strategy, execution and delivery, stakeholder management, customer collaboration, metrics and KPI’s, and risk management.  As a Product Manager, you’re not just building digital features; you are crafting delightful experiences that resonate with customers and drive business growth. Your ability to balance vision, execution, and collaboration will help define the success of the retail website.

What you will do

  • Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with business goals, market trends, and customer needs in the retail industry.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to identify consumer trends, competitors, and opportunities for product innovation.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and manage product roadmaps that prioritize features, enhancements, and new product launches based on customer insights and business objectives.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with design, engineering, marketing, and sales teams to define product requirements, ensure timely delivery, and maximize product adoption.
  • Product Development: Lead the product development process from concept to launch, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget.
  • User Experience: Advocate for exceptional user experiences by supporting user testing, gathering feedback, and iterating on product designs and features.
  • Metrics and Analysis: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, analyze data, and make data-driven decisions to optimize product performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, including executives.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and ensure our products remain innovative and competitive.
  • Product Launches: Plan and execute product launches, including marketing campaigns, sales enablement, and training materials for internal teams and external customers.

 

Job Qualifications

As the Security Operations Analyst, You Will:

?      Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.

?      Proven experience as a Product Owner in the retail industry, with a track record of successfully launching and managing products.

?      Strong understanding of retail industry dynamics, consumer behavior, and market trends.

?      Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive product decisions.

?      Solid project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

?      Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

?      Experience with agile product development methodologies and tools

  • Strong leadership abilities, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive results in a collaborative environment.
